Calling all therapists and healers:
Are you a therapist or healer who feels like your creative practice takes a backseat to your work? You might feel stuck between these two important parts of yourself, or that you can’t prioritize your creativity in the way you’d like.
You want to make time for creative expression—the stillness, the catharsis, the flow that happens when you get in the zone of making—but you find it’s always the first thing to go when life happens.
If this resonates, then our upcoming Creative Cocoon workshop series is for you! At the end of four weeks you’ll feel a greater harmony between your therapist/healer and creative parts and have new ideas about how to incorporate your creativity into your life.
Join Ana Vidina Hernández, Ellen Line, and other therapists and healers like you, as we enter this Creative Cocoon together. We’ll explore and celebrate your therapist/healer and creative selves, hold space to identify your needs and dreams, and move toward integrating these parts so that you can experience a sense of wholeness and satisfaction.
In collaboration with
Ellen Line, LCSW-C, is the founder and creative behind ROAR Wellness Co., her psychotherapy practice and the ROAR Co.mmunity, a nurturing online space that helps folks heal relationship trauma. She’s been a creative for as long as she can remember, and while therapist is a newer identity, she’s been embracing both for the past year. She has facilitated groups with folks ages five to eighty five in a variety of settings and about a variety of topics. She loves to guide groups toward healing and personal growth. She’s currently slightly obsessed with making DIY renovations to her 100-year-old Baltimore row home.

GROUP AGREEMENTS:
This is a growing space. Mistakes are opportunities to learn. Growth can be uncomfortable!
This is an anti-oppressive space. All identities are welcomed and discrimination will not be tolerated.
This is a relational space. We prioritize active listening, “I” statements, encouraging one another, and honoring each other’s vulnerability with care and compassion.
While we don’t expect this will be a problem, behavior that doesn’t honor the fullness of each other’s humanity will be addressed and opportunity for repair given. If behaviors continue, facilitators reserve the right to remove participants from the program.
What will each week look like?
Each week will cover a different theme and will include a mindful activity, group discussion, and time for creative expression.
Week 1: Identity - We will explore your identity as both a healer AND a creative. We will uncover what may be blocking you from fully stepping into your creativity and you will find a meaningful affirmation for the weeks ahead.
Week 2: Purpose - We will explore what motivates and inspires you creatively. We will acknowledge the role creativity plays in your everyday life and start your individual exploration through a vision board.
Week 3: Intention - We will explore the beautiful and meaningful work and life that you wish to create. We will consider ways to invite more creative expression into your life, address obstacles and limitations that arise, and continue your vision board.
Week 4: Freedom - We will explore what your most full self looks like, integrating the work we have done up to this point. We will experience permission to grow into our most creative selves and look ahead to continuing your journey beyond the Cocoon. We will marvel at your completed vision board!
